Once-Weekly Treatment Study for Type 2 Diabetes
Exploring whether a once-weekly injection can control blood sugar better than daily medication.
This study is evaluating an investigational once-weekly medication for adults with type 2 diabetes whose A1C remains above target despite current treatment. Participants receive study-related care from an endocrinology-experienced research team, including regular A1C testing, continuous glucose monitoring supplies, and lifestyle counselling.
Approximately half of participants receive the investigational medication and half receive a comparator; neither you nor the study doctor chooses which. You continue to see your own family doctor throughout.
What participants receive
- Study medication and diabetes supplies at no cost
- A1C and lab testing throughout the study
- Compensation for time and travel
- Care from an experienced research physician
